Commence Rant.
People get into arguments. People fight. Things escalate. People shoot at each other. People die. More people die. People chit chat. Things escalate again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
What the heck else is there? Honestly.
I am writing an eight page paper on the theories of conflict and it seems ridiculous for me to even be writing it. Theory is THEORY! Conflicts happen because everyone can’t agree. Yes. Sometimes its ethnic conflicts within a state. Sometimes its because the government is ineffective. But WHY is the government ineffective!? (*coughcolonialismcough*) Why are there ethnic conflicts within a state? BAD BORDER CHOICES! There are a gazillion reasons why a single conflict occurs, and many of the reasons are ancient history to the people. Us western folk cannot tell me why the Sunni and the Shia really fight. They do. They will continue to do so. Getting involved only lets the fight brew under the surface longer.
