Succoth houses become shelter to homeless. Police forced to deal with succoth evictions. But wait, are they homeless or sleeping the in the succoth to celebrate the harvest or whatever OR are they homeless and need temporary shelter? This is for you to decide. Although I contend that its difficult to stop someone from sleeping in a Succoth when they say to you “but the chosen people and G*d command it so!”
Hundreds of new yorker are forced to feel inferior as hasids ask if you are Jewish. Non Jews get a may god bless your soul. Jews get fwapped on the head with palm fronds. I prefer the blessing vs. the palm frond attack.
Non devout catholics fret that it’s palm Sunday. And rush to nearest church. Only to remember that its not April. And those people in the funny hats running around with palm fronds are not, indeed, bizarre catholics.
